Suggestions on how to perform a complete self-skin examination is provided below.
- Examine the easy to see places with a full-length mirror.
- Use a hand-held mirror to examine places that are usually hard to see like your back, underarms, neck, and groin.
- Use a hair dryer and your mirror to examine your scalp. (Melanoma can appear anywhere!)
